Bijou Bar
Lumière Cinemas offers a warm and friendly Art Deco bar area overlooking the beautiful Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Enjoy a drink before or after your film of choice – or at any time.
Bijou Bar features specially designed cocktails named after old Christchurch cinemas, a great selection of local craft beers, a bespoke wine list, Lyttelton Coffee Company coffees and T Leaf tea. A snack menu of freshly baked pastries, bagels and cheeseboards is also available, and guests are welcome to take all food sold into the cinema with you.
Bunsen
Bunsen burst into the culinary scene in November 2016 and quickly became a top destination for locals and tourists alike. The cafe specialises in the perfect cup of coffee served in a range of brew methods including syphon, aeropress, pour-over, cold-drip and espresso using its own blend, The Dark Horse. Bunsen is also a licenced venue serving a variety of New Zealand wines, beers and cider.

Cellar Door
Cellar Door offers comparative wine tasting flights and an extensive selection of local and international wines by the glass and bottle. Cellar Door is proud to pay tribute to the venue’s history as the Canterbury College School of Art, which is reflected in the art and objects found around the room.

Frances Nation Grocer is renowned for its takeaway coffee and lunch options at Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre. The Grocer stocks freshly baked bread and a wide range of locally produced pantry items: cheese, eggs, honey, jams, bottled fruits, flour, vinegar, olive oil and more. Fresh produce occasionally arrives in the shop, and there are plenty of picnic-ready options for those wishing to enjoy the natural scenery provided by the nearby Botanic Gardens.
